Our Story

Welcome to our digital office.
Started in 2018 by Keith, Gamesmaster Games is dedicated to making your next outdoor event a Big Splash with our Dunk Tank and other games! Our largest yearly event is the Virginia Renaissance Festival in Spotsylvania, VA, where you can find a full complement of our Games and Tests of Skill.

Our games are available to rent for your next party or event. We are currently able to travel anywhere up to an hour from Richmond.

We are currently based in the Greater Richmond area to best serve the Mid-Atlantic Region. Our goal is to share the joy of playing games with our customers and the wider public in a safe, fun, and engaging way!

Our GamesMasters

Keith Barch - Owner and CEO

Keith took over these games from the previous games master of VARF, and has since worked to expand and extend the reach of the company to anyone who needs some extra Joy in their life. You can usually find Keith dressed as loudly as possible, on his knees in a pool of water, mud, an assortment of rocks and toys and ducks, or taking a quick break in an obscure corner where no-one can find him(he hopes!). As the owner, he is dedicated to making sure everyone has fun, and to keeping these sorts of physical games around to be enjoyed.

Kristin Hessenauer - GM

Kristin Hessenauer, Gamesmaster Games' General Manager has been working with Keith Barch for 15 years with his various business and arts ventures. With a professional background in the arts and entertainment industry she brings a focus on curating fun experiences at GmG. She handles staffing, logistics and is the primary builder of several of our offerings.

The crew

Our crew is constantly changing and evolving, but some faces stay the same. Most are shy, but you might catch a glimpse of one if you watch carefully!

The 'B' Team

Our B team travels to smaller shows and events with our extra equipment when we are setup at a Major Event. They also handle Parties and similar Gigs on the move.
